did some junk yard picking today...
found an XJ with the infinity tweeters in the little triangle panels . What a difference in the sound and it was plug in easy.
extra under the hood light, ya know... for those road side repairs lol.
a section of stock vacuum line, hopefully to replace the one that is leaking.
an extra stock fog light switch, will be wired up to run my Hella lights.
they did have a matching wheel for me but wouldn't sell it alone... dammit.

another cooling system related problem...When I did the waterpump and other stuff I also put a new rad cap on. A few days later it was leaking. I waited it out but didn't stop. Today Autozone gave me another new one and it also is leaking.
I checked the neck on the radiator and there is no cracks, chips or defects.
So what am I to do?
Another brand? if so which?

Not sure man... there's a member on here that was a jeep mechanic for 20-something years and knows just which one to get... I think you get it at NAPA. I'll try to find his name and/or the post which he talks about it.

just found it... his name is cruiser54
however, this was for a '90 cherokee... probably going to be different for yours - PM him, he'll know.
Don't use the cap that comes with the reservoir. Get a Napa 703-1396 cap.
