Hydrolocked motor?

Hydrolocked motor?
I went in a way to deep hole this weekend out wheeling and my jeep shut off on me. Pulled it out have water in the oil and in cylinders 5-6 pulled all of the plugs and tried to crank it over but the starter just grinds. Anyone have any suggestions? Think my motor is locked up? Was gonna change the oil 2 or 3 times and dump diesel in the cylinders

Perhaps the starter is water logged.
Try cranking it over by hand with all the plugs removed.

This isn't sounding too good.....
Try a breaker bar.

Not sure what you mean by the starter grinds. Does that mean it's not engaging properly and its chewing up the teeth? Does it mean you're spinning the motor but it won't fire? If the starter is spinning but your motor isn't then pull that starter off and have it diagnosed.

Do it by hand with a break over on that ratchet on the crank pulley bolt, make sure it in neutral. Remember that the exhaust/muffler/cats are full of water also.
Hope you didn't trash major engine parts if it ran on a bit to long.
