So i have a little tick going on and i was told that it was my lifters and i was wondering if there was any quick fixes or how hard would it be to replace them myself.

Not a quick fix, the cylinder head has to come off in order to replace the lifters. The 4.0 is not a quiet engine by any means, they're noisy, but they will be noisy for hundreds of thousands of miles without any problems.

You could try adding whatever your favorite additive is to the oil. I, and a lot of others use marvel mystery oil. Will slowly remove some of the built up gunk
