Default HVAC Control overlay
Anyone know how to replace the HVAC control overlay on a 87-90 xj? Need some help on this one.

What do you mean by the control overlay? Do you mean the plastic piece that goes over the controller with all of the markings on it?

Just go to the junkyard and pull another control unit. You will probably pay less for that and it's a million times easier. Just plug and play..
