One of the doors (I believe the recirculation door) inside my HVAC box is getting stuck partially open. I'm pretty sure its hanging up on the blower motor fan itself because occasionally I hear plastic making contact with the fan blades. My mechanic just fixed it the other day but it has happened again. Is there a way to free it without dismantling the dash? I've heard you can access it on some models by removing the glove box, anybody have any experience with this?

 

if mechanic fixed it and still same issue take back to mechanic and have mechanic actually fix it until issue is resolved....idk about xj recirc doors
