it really really depends on if youre willing to trim, and how much
33s can fit on 3.5" and work really effectively, that is what i would do..
31s can be run on 3" for the most part untrimmed. so on and so forth
more specifics would help

dont take this the wrong way, and im not being mean, mods. but man you gotta do a search, thats why the search buttons there. we can throw all kinds of different scenarios at you but its not gonna do you much good. you didnt even write down what the vehicles gonna be used for. so heres my .02 do a search, there are at least 200 pics here of different lifts different tires different years and how much they trimmed. just asking, how much is kinda defeating the purpose. look around, theres alot of info and pics....
and again, im not being mean im just making a suggestion

try looking through here..
usually about 4" with no cutting for 31's
6.5" with no cutting for 33's
although most people will think that this is way too tall..especially if you're into alot of rock crawling...the best thing is to keep the center of grav low and run a decently sized set of tires

you always have to trim to run 33s basically. lift height does not equal tire clearance when flexing. only at ride height.
essentially, be ready to trim for anything over 31s to be realistic.
