How much play??
How much "play" should there be in the steering box?? I would think that "some" is ok, but too much is obviously not!! What would be considered acceptable?? This is all in hopes of finding my DW problems that I've previously "bored" you all with, thanks!!
I'm not giving up on this thing, I'm gonna win!! Later!

ive had cars with play about the worst ive had was about 1 1/2" of play
my jeep has about and inch of play in it not sure never measured it yet but i think i will
i think how much play you consider acceptable is up to the personal preference on driving and driving style
me i like very little play to no play but still but still loser steering because i did alot of auto crossing and drifting and that setup i was more comfortable with. i do not like having tight steering cause of the endurance of not only constitly going back on forth but also the energy required to do that.
some people dont agree with me they think tighter is better
back to topic i would say as long as the play doesnt effect your response ability its fine.
