How to Kill The Power Antenna...
I figured out the noise I was hearing on the passenger side fender near the mirror. It is the power antenna trying to either put it up or down. The antenna is all the way up and I can't push it down. This is what is killing my battery. I removed the fused to the radio and that didn't help. is there a plug or fuse I can remove to disable the antenna motor???

If your up for it, you can remove the radio from the dash and look for the solid grey wire. This is the wire that the radio uses to send the up/down signal to the antenna. You should be able to clip that wire. Just make sure to tape it off on the radio side because the radio will still be sending power down that wire every time you turn the radio on or off.

In my 91 XJ Laredo, the antenna was broken and every time I shut the key off, the antenna motor kept running trying to bring the antenna down. Pulled the fuse, problem gone.

Hmm, thanks if it's that easy. I thought I looked and didn't see anything for antenna. I will check it now and if it works I'll let you know...

Yes I found it! However, my panel has it labeled ERT. I pulled the 10 amp fuse in the same location as in your picture and hooked up the jumper box and no noise. Installed the fuse and I have noise. I have found the power antenna fuse. Thank you so much. I can now charge the battery, re-hook up the starter and work on getting the jeep back on the road. Thank you very much!!!
