How do you drain the PS reservoir?

Yes...I searched...couldn't find anything.

I did this in a parking lot. Prolly the wrong way.. I used napkin's to soak up the fluid till it was empty.

Are you removing the pump and lines? Can you just let it leak out one of the lines?

I'm gonna have to do this really soon. I've gotta replace my pump.

I don't know how it's done...but when I did the high pressure hose the fluid looked like crap. Brownish sorta color. I didn't like the looks of it and want to drain and refill. I hope somebody knows how it's done.

Can't you just open the lowest possible point and let it drain?

while ago I had to deal with this , mine XJ is '96, ... it's kind of "write-up" like, but that's what I did and how I did it, not to be taken as "HOW TO DO iT" ... I don't really know 100% how to do it "right"

Default The Tukey in the Baster

I figured with my wife's gravy she wouldn't notice a bit of cloudy PS fluid in the baster, actually I kept the baster in the garage and got my wife a brand new one, makes a great 25th aniversary gift
Ya think?

Really though nice link on the right way to do it.
