Default How do u hook up fog lights?

Ok sorry if it's a dumb question but I bought a xj with rock lights but one doesn't work so ima change it out. I know there's the lights. Some wires. A fuse and a switch. How does it all work?

Could I make it simpler and do fog light ground the negative positive goes to a fuse then a switch and battery without doing the relay or any of that other stuff

Why will it burn down if it blows the fuse and shuts it off??? Could I use one of the fuse able relays when they get overloaded they shut off then turn back on

Relays are the most over looked thing on any aftermarket light. I have a relay per light on my jeep. I also have 12 off road lights. I made a relay center.

You can hook it up how ever you want. With what we told you you can't come on complaining how your harness is toast cause you didn't use a relay. Lol

So why is there a 20 amp fuse hooked to the relay but the switch is hook to the fuse box????

Would u mind looking at the picture on the 2nd post. Why Is there a fuse holder and a fuse box? Can I run off just a relay and a fuse box on my firewall without the indicator light thank you if you can help
