Hahaha, then "he" went to great lengths to pull it off. Im not sure how many many men posing as woman would paint there engine block purple, I believe that breaks man rule #278. Whatever it takes to get you questions answered I guess

yes, I am a 40 yr old man disguised as a chick! Busted, you got me... And yes my engine block is purple, i would have gone pink, but that would break man rule #2 and would require more punishment. Although come to think of it, I have broke Rule #1, "dont let a chick drive your jeep", all well I guess im screwed either way...
haha and thanks Warpig! =)

Got one better than that. Wife driving home in my 94, there are two big big hills and she a penny saver so she put the car in nuetral going down the hill and actually went into park and the jeep went dead. Thinking she had killed it she has some motorists push it off the road in park, breaking the steering wheel loose and breaking the horn mechanism. After getting the steering wheel tight and simply cranking jeep back up i start the rest of the way home and go to make a RIGHT turn and the horn honks...well the whole way home any right turn I made honked the horn as long as I had the steering wheel turned the slightest. My brother(riding with me) and I were in tears by the time we got home and both had comercial abs.

Alright, no more fun... So back to the horn issues...
While on my lunch, I took off the cover and looked to see if the little rod was bent and it is not. I dont see how it can be in upside down do to the fact that there is a plastic nut that seperates the spring and the metal rod to keep it from arching out. And as for the metal plate and green plastic thing that goes on afterward, I dont see how that can be installed differently to make it work.
So I guess i will go back to having no horn until I can wire in a seperate switch, unless I can figure out the problem with a better look later, or any of you have an idea?
Thanks again for all the help and the humor.
