Default Starting problem

my 94 Cherokee sport used to start just fine until my exhaust fell off the other dy on the trails now it's broken right behind the crossmember and now when i go to start my jeep it takes it forever to start sometimes doesn't start at all or takes 1 2 or even 3 tries to start. is it possible the exhaust is messing with it that bad?

yes!!!! without the exhaust you have no back press for the engine to run properly. i would call around to some muffler shops and ak pricing for a new pipe system.
