This is easy.
Remove BOTH headlights. Then the metal "bucket" behind them.
Remove the 2 per side 13 or 15MM bolts that are holding the hood latches on.
Lift up hood and release the latches to re-install the hood catches into the light area.
Next time, LUBE the hood cable and latch assemblies. Dont use WD40 unless you are using it to remove tho old gunk. Re-oil with lithium spray.
No need to CUT the hood or break anything. It's really easy to open the hood this way.
PS: Photobucket sucks now. They want $400 so you can post pictures in forums now. Use imgur.
Nasty thing is that Photobucket shows the pictures to whoever posted the thread ONLY. Everyone else sees the "PAY US $400 for 3rd party hosting!" image.. But the OP sees pictures. shady man.. Really shady.

Thats called ransom, among other things.
ran·som
noun
1. a sum of money or other payment demanded or paid for the release of a prisoner.
synonyms: payoff, payment, sum, price
"they demanded a huge ransom"
verb
1. obtain the release of (a prisoner) by making a payment demanded.
"the lord was captured in war and had to be ransomed"
In this case, 'prisoner' being your photos. I havent used Photobucket in quite some time. Its a mismanaged pile of dog poo. I have since copied all my photos to cd, and i do not use Phototbucket anymore. Asking $400 to share your photos is wrong. Its beyond excessive. But like said, i dont use them anymore.
Imagine all the hood cables you could buy with that $400!
