Home Made Disco's?
Does anyone have home made Disconnects? They look pretty easy to make with stock Sway bar links. Just a pin with holes in it, with cotter pin and washers on the bottom and a wing nut and cotter pin at the top. Pretty simple and prob less than 5 bucks. Question is how is the ride? Really bad? My rig is not a DD. Thanks!

I don't see why it would be bad. At the worst, I can only imagine that it would break then it would be like riding with no swaybar.
To make it stronger you could probably use a wing nut on the bottom too

You have to jump through a bunch of hoops before your sarcasm is warranted....you have to type "home made discos" not (disconnects or disco's) and it's buried in a build thread, thanks for the link none the less.

Hey I didn't set this system up, or teach it english. I just assume that it, as most users, are lax in the spelling department. It went through didn't it? Suprised? I'm not. In the post it was spelled "discos". I was just trying to help you out. I wasn't being sarcastic, just making a point to those that fail to take advantage of the search feature. And my hoop-jumping days are long past. Dan.
