Roof is pickup truck bed liner. It came to us that way, and we kinda like it.
Costs :
Body filler. $50
2k primer. $100
Sand paper 80/220/400/500/1200/2000 grit $80
Tape paper & plastic. $80
PPG single stage black paint. $270 gallon
LVLP gun. $70
Filters for DIY paint booth $40
Time. $ priceless & free.
Total. $ 690
Throw in $2000 for the engine rebuild.
And $2000 for the XJ.
We have a new Jeep for about 5 grand.

Mine is purple (stock from the factory color)... for whatever reason they did a few that color. When I bought it used i got it cheaper because the guy couldnt sell it...lol
