I haven't messed with the manifold bolts, as I dont have a torque wrench.
I tried figuring out where that hose goes, but once it goes into that tube it's lost. I would have to tear the whole thing apart to find it.

My ac is out of commission right now, but the vents do blow air.

Does air flow switch from dash to defrost when driving ? Also do you have rear wiper that extra hose could be for that option ?

Check the manifold bolts then see if vents change from dash to defrost when driving this could indicate vacuum issue . In ball or line to it.
