Default HID Kits?????

Anyone have a hid kit that they would recommend to me.

I cant see far in front of me on the highway and was wondering if anyone has used or heard of anyone that has used a HID kit, and what theyre thoughts were.

I've bought several kits from DDM Tuning, one for my old BMW, and now I've got one of their kits on my bike. I've never had an issue with them, and they have good pricing.

That said, I don't know of anyone who sells a projector headlight. If you put a HID in a non-projector light, you are gonna **** off a lot of people.

That's the reason I had my HIDs taken out.

That is definitely one of the main reason why some people don't attempt to install HID's... I think you should put it on if its really part of your driving needs especially during night off-road driving...

I have a HID kit that i bought from a dealer on a local wheeling forum. Made a huge difference in night driving, WAY better than the $12 lights i had in there haha. I do not have projector lenses but havent got flashed much, maybe 2 times since ive had them which has been over a year. I did have a problem with them not firing sometimes in very cold weather, but it was usually fixed by turning the lights off then back on.

I wasnt aware that the non-projector reflectors were a problem for other drivers, ill have to look into some. I thought there was a brand called halo projector or something like that on ebay.

hood81 what didn't you like about the clear projectors? i have a nice HID conversion kit using the Hella housings and the light pattern shifts up and to the left from center. was thinking about getting projectors. can you take a pic of your lights up against the wall so i can see the pattern? thanks.

Does anyone have any photos of the light output and pattern of the projectors with soem HID's? I do primarily all night driving and with my old SVT Focus with HID's the light output was excellent and that is what I need. thanks guys.

This is the kit I currently have in my jeep, so far so good, amazing difference for night driving. The light pattern is a little different but after driving a few times I like it and won't go back to seal beams. My wife wants meto convert her tj next.
