It's a bolt thru the seat back pan. If you unzip the cover there is a sheet of metal under most of the seat back. I just drilled a hole and bolted a bolt thru there. The bolt then sticks thru a hole in the jack retained by a washer and a nut. I keep a deep well socket for that size nut in the ammo tin toolbox. Same size nut and washer I have holding in the full size spare.

I slide the left end ot the jack above the ammo tin and behind the spare and place the jack over the bolt and tighten it down. I may replace the nut with a wing nut today.

Looks good, man. You may want to think about flipping it around so the mechanics are on the inside, facing the vehicle. It's a quick and easy way to protect it from minor damage, like flying rocks and such.

I originally did but it ended up rubbing against the endcap, i need to put a bigger spacer on the passenger side mount to fit it!

Ha. I didn't think of the end cap, but I can see where that would cause a problem. I removed my end caps some time ago and forgot that my Jeep even had them to begin with.

Here is mine. I mounted it on the back of my roof rack. I just oil it up every so often. It works fine br doing that. Even in the extreme amount of salt Wisconsin uses in the winters...
