Hi I Have A 1990 Jeep Cherokee But I Can't Get My Back Tire Off
Hi there is this wierd bolt or something in the middle of my rim, if any one as come into this problem or knows have to get it off i would like the help.

If you STILL cant get the tire off, you need to screw the nuts back on so they are very very loose. Take the Jeep off the jack, start it up and slowly back up till the rim frees up. I had to drive around the block and take a speedbump in a parking lot to free up both rear rims on my 86. I then re tightened the lugs and drove back to the garage.

personally i use a 3-4 foot section of 4x4 and whack the rim on the front side. i have had a very few occurances where it took more than one shot to get it off. i dont like tryin to break the tire free from underneath on a jack

Can you get a hydraulic jack behind it?do you have access to a tourch?you could apply a small amount of heat to it,and if nothing else cut it off,unless they are some exspensive rims. My cocern would be why is this happening,are they the correct rims,did someone modify them to fit? are the others like this? I am no expert but I have never had a rim get seized up like this except when I modified a rim to fit once and last time,this would be a real problem if you were out and about

Beat the crap out of your tire from behind right where the rim meetsa the rubber ..........if it doesnt come off pretend everyone on this forum is there behind you calling you a girl and prove us wrong!
