either way its really the same. here is the best advice i can give you. i took it off another site
"It is held on by plastic clips under the mouldings. You can buy a special tool for this at most parts stores. It has a flat metal end with a hook. You slip it under the moulding and with slight pressure pull the clip towards the windshield. Then you can pull the moulding off. There are several clips and they can break when they are old."

sorry to ressurect an old post but this might help others:
do you think that just resealing it with rtv or silicone by just pulling back on the trim and trying to get the sealant in there would "do" it? as opposed to removing the trim and possibly breaking it that is

For now what I did was ran 2 layers of black electrical tape layered in a staggered pattern. You can't tell unless you come up real close to it. I trimmed it with a sharp blade to make it look decent. Worked like a charm. I had water dripping onto the center console while driving in a storm. So annoying. So this fixed it but get this, the next rain (which wasn't as bad as the last) came and now my passenger front and rear can be known as the XJ Lagoon. REALLY REALLY tired of it being hotter and more humid IN my jeep than outside of it.
Im guessing maybe the antenna is what I should look at next? Have heard/read that mentioned on here. The weather stripping -looks- ok (?)
