The round pulley next to the water pump, what's it called? I need either a new one or replacement bearings. Do I get a whole new one from the parts store or is this gonna be a dealership item/junk yard adventure?

 

Idler pulley?? And will I need any special tools to get it off or should it just slide off with a little work?

 

^^ Yup that is just an Idle pulley, easy to replace!

 

No special tools needed. Just a 1/2 inch wrench I believe

 

Ya, kind of over reacted. It's my DD so wanted to get it fixed ASAP. Just pulled it off, took all of 10 min if that lol. Thanks guys.

15mm wrench required to remove the bolt.

 

Idler pulley - you can get one at any parts store.

When they start going bad they sound like a puppy whining really loudly.

They're like a $10 part.
