The gasket seemed tight there do they all? Or did I get the wrong one? Can I remove it and rtv the hell outta it? I just need it to not leak til it gets past inspection and on the boat to ship back to colorado...please help!!!!

Heres a old trick take a 1/4 inch extension long enough to be tapped with a hammer place the end a socket would go on in the area between bolts and hit it this will cause a slight bending of oil pan area where it contacts gasket applying more pressure to gasket .

Anybody else have done that? Just don't wanna make it worse as I don't have the time to order a new oil pan because it takes two weeks to get it since I'm in Germany and military mail is slow...
