So here is the situation, I have a 93 Cherokee Sport,4.0 liter, Inline 6, manual transmission that went from taking a long crank to start up(as in up to 30 seconds or more of cranking) to inevitably being able to try and turn over and over and over until it would drain the battery to the point of dying. I've tried a few of the basics and still nothing, can someone please help me try to get this damn thing running before winter hits?!
What I have done so far:
Checked all fuses, they passed with flying colors.
Replaced starter, nothing changed.
Checked fuel lines connecting into carburetor, they don't seem clogged, and if I drain them then let the fuel pump turn on with key turned to run fuel will come out.
Tried using starter fluid into carburetor and still nothing.
Checked the spark plugs, which i had replaced in the spring, as well as the distributor, also replaced in the spring, and neither seemed worn beyond normal.
Checked to see if they would spark when turning engine, and there is problem number 1, no spark.
I then back stepped it to the ignition coil, and yet again turned engine, not spark.
Replaced ignition coil, still no spark.
Checked battery with multimeter and it was over 12.60 V
So here is where I am stuck, any suggestions?

sounds like the crankshaft position sensor to me, but that's just a guess.

I am a little confused your 93 jeep Cherokee has a carburetor? I think you mean throttle body... but anyway
since you have no spark the first thing I would check and maybe buy a new coil...

Sorry yes I did mean throttle body, but I had read that if you unplug and replug the CPS that it should temporarily get it to run again, and when I tried that i still had nothing, I also tried doing the computer check where you turn the key 3 times, and as of now it isn't even lighting up the check engine light

I can't be sure because it's been a while since I've worked on the older XJ's, but it might be possible that you have an "auto shutdown" relay, or ASD for short. I don't have my manuals with me at work so I can't be sure.
Next thing I'd try is check for voltage at the coil. Then switch out the ASD relay for another one in the power distribution box, just don't swap it for the fuel pump relay because it won't start without that one either.

The only light that comes on when I turn the key to run is the seatbelt light, and i tried replaced the CPS, along with all the spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor, just for safe keeping and its still not starting up
