Any thoughts on the RPT brand new distributor O'Reilly carries?
They also have a reman for a couple dollars less, then of course Napa has a Reman,,, not less but maybe better.

Well the leak is progressing to the point that it's leaving a trail when driving. I'm going to replace the oil filter o-rings first. If that does not fix it, i'll be having the RMS done at the shop.

What is the trick to getting this bolt off the oil filter adapter? I struggled with it for about 2 hours, and I finally gave up. I purchased a breaker bar, but it wouldn't fit in the tight space. Tried a mallot and hammer, and the bolt will not budge. Really would prefer to fix this myself, instead of paying a shop.

Is it a hex headed bolt or a Torx?

I had to put the t60 bit in a closed end wrench like the link above shows, and then I used frickin 6 foot long pipe as a cheater bar and it finally broke loose. After it breaks loose it's an easy job.

Yeah, I just can't seem to get leverage (torque) to get the bolt out. I'll be having my mechanic do it next week for me lol
