Default Help Identify a Front-End Part (Washer of some sort)

I recently rebuilt my front-end (everything but control arms, they are next). So I know this is not from any of the items I worked on. It has some rust so it is something from the original setup. But I can not figure out what it came from. I know it fell off, but I don't know from what. I'm thinking something steering related (steering gear? intermediate shaft?) I found it under the driver side front wheel. In the area of the steering knuckle, ball joints, etc.

About the size of a quarter (slightly larger), very thin, and was probably originally a full circle.

Any ideas?

nothing important. It looks like one of those lock washer things. I wouldn't worry bout it.

Part of the Tie rod. Like Jeeper said, looks like you'll never miss it

NewbJeep, Thank you just what I needed.

That tells me it didn't actually fall off the vehicle, but must have been hiding somewhere on the floor already. I keep cardboard out for working on, so it must have been caught between the layers (didn't see it when sweeping up) My new front end parts don't have those.

I use cardboard too. Otherwise, I have to lay in the dirt. Went out and snapped a pic. Sorry it was blurry but couldn't tell in the sun haha. Hate that. Glad you figured it out. Extra parts are a head-scratcher
