::Ball Joint Replacement part options?::
Looking to replace my upper and lower ball joints on my 99 XJ d30. I am partial to go with MOOG parts. However I see there are regular and adjustable ball joints. I have a 3" and 31s right now with no caster/camber issues. I am assuming I just need the regular non adjustable joints.
Which joints should I get? Adjustable or not?
Thanks!

Amazon, spicer ball joints. Buy these and be done for another 160k miles. Jeep used them OEM in your ride, and they've lasted this long, right? Plus they are usually cheaper than most other ball joints you can get and they are superior quality.

I agree, go with the spicers. I just did alloy USA all steel, greasable uppers and lowers. They're more expensive and stronger but you have to grease them. The lowers are really hard to grease too.

Not finding any Spicer units on Amazon PRIME. They are on rock auto however. But are very expensive. Really that much better than MOOG you think?

I too was once partial to MOOG. I replaced my factory ball joints at 280,000 miles with MOOG's which failed after 28,000 miles. I replaced them with Spicers like came from the factory and they are still going strong. Go with Spicer. Google Moog going downhill and you'll see folks far and wide are questioning the quality of today's Moog products.

I am also replacing my draglink/zjtierod and all tie rod ends as well. I have heard GOOD things about MOOG for these parts however...
Do you all agree?

I have been using NAPA Steering parts lately. I did have one go bad and they warrantied it without question. The replacement part was a different design. NAPA appears to be the old Dana/Spicer chassis devision very similar/same as the Raybestos Professional available today, with a lifetime warranty (instead of two years). If you go this route, be sure to get the NAPA Chassis & Steering line which is the premium line. I believe the lower cost line is reboxed Moog.
