Help with heat/AC
Hey guys, here's the story so far on my HVAC situation in my turd.
When I originally purchased this turd, the fans would work, but would give off no heat (I got it in mid november...)
Over time the fans would stop working, and when I would hit a good bump in the road of when I slammed my door hard enough they would kick on but still give off no heat.
After plenty of research, I backflushed my heater core and yay! heat worked for about a week or two.
Then the fans completely died and refuse to work whatsoever (no matter how many bumps i hit in the road ) I had this issue throughout the whole winter. IF i was lucky enough, the fans would kick on when the jeep started, but as soon as they were turned off they would not go back on.
Now here is where I need help, WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS *****?
Something electrical? Bad vacuum hoses? cracked heater core (please god no)?
At the moment I dont mind not having heat because.. you know.. doorless for days. But it would be nice to have heat one winter comes back around.
Thank you for any input guys, you always seem to pull me out of these cr*ppy situation

It's likely your heater blower motor resistor that has failed. Here's a tutorial on replacing it, funny accent and all.
It could also be the blower, itself but you'll have to do some testing to make sure.

Alright guys, its time to bring this thread back to life.
I did as FF1addict suggested and replaced my blower motor resistor. Bad choice. This did absolutely nothing. I took the "throw parts ay it and it will fix itself" approach and ended up with a shiny new resistor and still no heat.
It would be very nice to get the fans working before winter comes back around
