Fingers crossed is fine.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is when they fail, they don't always just get a crack.
They split catastrophically dumping huge amounts of coolant and can leave you stranded. Enough coolant can be lost that engine damage is a possibility, especially on a freeway or interstate.

Replacement open system radiator is $165 at Napa. Your radiator might not be in the best of shape anyway....Recovery bottle $15. New preformed late model heater hoses (not really necessary, bulk hose can be used) are $35.
Eliminate the heater control valve, which is a potential catastrophic loss of coolant source. Free.

Let's compare to a $150 tow bill at a minimum depending on where you are. Close to home and an easy repair for you? Or traveling to Thanksgiving with a carload of family 100 miles from home?

Realist..LOL.
I want the award for the longest lasting one of those POS bottles what ever the cost!! Or even an award for continuing to use the POS replacements.
Getting stranded. Huge tow bill. Stuck in the woods!! Vacation ruined!! Wife pissed. I don't care. Motor cooked. Where's my trophy???

Pretty expensive at $154, but it's going to last and takes a real radiator cap.

Or spend $200ish converting with a new radiator, heater core hoses, and overflow bottle. Maybe even splurge and do the water pump, rad hoses, and the thermostat and be done with it.

If it were me, this would be what I would do. Eliminate the two well known failure points of the system and replace with ALL new components, and have peace of mind until the next coolant flush...

OP:
I ran across a spare (new) lower overflow tank hose in the garage today. This is the smaller 90 deg hose with one expanded end ...the one you were asking about.

ID measurements of the actual brand new, never-installed hose ends are: 3/4" at the tank side, 1/2" ID on the end which attaches to the cooling system metal tubing (near the engine). I knew I had one around ..if I could lay my hands on it! The Quadratec units are pretty high quality actually. I don't know how I ended up with a spare, but... Hope it helps

Replacing the windshield washer hose on your 2021 Jeep Cherokee is a relatively straightforward process.

What exactly is the problem? I suggest you start a brand new thread instead of continuing this one. Make sure you include the detail on your XJ (year, engine, etc.)
