help with brake drums

Default help with brake drums

how do i remove the driver side brake drum?

passenger side ones just seems to come right off. drivers side is a whole different story tho. cant find it anywhere.

they usually stick i know mine do just tap it with a hammer a bit

thats probably it haha i didnt know if the drivers side was different than the passenger. quiet a bit of rust too, hopefully its just stuck. thanks

Have you tried to loosen the adjuster wheel inside the drum. You get to it by pulling off a rubber plug under the axle tube.

get a flash light and two skinny screw drivers one need to puch the automatic adjuster back away from the adjuster wheel while the other turns the adjuster wheel in so the brakes come in off the drum

after you remove the rear plug use one screw driver to puch the adjuster lever off the wheel the red line ,use the other screw driver to turn the adjuster wheel the black arrow, the wheel will turn both way you need to go the way that makes it looser

got the drum off using a hammer and pbblaster, so many pieces of rusted drum pieces when i got it off
