it is a 1996 if that matters...
also I noticed that the spot on the body where the door latches to(think its called the striker?) has a weird wear line on it...

it could be your hinge they were welded on from the factory (correct me if i am wrong) which can make them krek and make the door have contact with the front fender causing problems. you could try WD-40 the hinge. My buddy had the same problem he pulled the door of cut the weld on the hinge off made a plate with nuts on the back side drilled some holes in the original door hinge and bolted it on and it fixed the problem.

Might just be that the striker is out of alignment/loose. Loosen it up and you can move it up/down and in and out to move it into alignment. Easy job. Russ

Does it look like the hinges were removed at one point?
If you aren't the only owner the PO could have made a poor attempt to remove the doors and didn't reassemble correctly.
I'd stay away from WD-40, PB blaster is a much better product.
