Exclamation !!!HELP!!! 1993 Jeep Cherokee Manual Transmission Problems

Hi guys, I own a 1993 Jeep Cherokee sport with a manual transmission and only 165,000 miles. Recently after installing my lift I noticed a "Wobbling sound" when my truck is in gear and coasting down after releasing the gas peddle with the clutch in. It was not doing this before the lift I installed and dose not make this noise out of gear. It was originally only my 1st gear but over the past months or so it has become all my gears.

At first to get buy I originally installed a TK drop kit to help with drive line vibrations. But I only rode on that for two weeks and installed the SYE with a longer drive shaft. After which it still made this noise.

The only time I think this noise disappeared was when I installed 31 inch A/T tires onto the truck and it was gone for a day but then came back.

I am at a loss as to what this may be and I would appreciate any help to find whats happened to my truck. I have googled for something similar but have not found anything. Thanks guys.

Did you install degree shims for your axle?

We originally installed 2 degree shims but it was a big cause for drive line vibrations after the SYE so we removed them.

I will record a video of the sound I am hearing today after work.

Your pinion on the rear drive shaft has to point directly into the drive shaft. In other words the pinion and driveshaft angles should be the same and form a straight line.

If your pinion does not match that angle almost exactly, you will destroy your rear differential and often times driveshaft u-joints. Which could possibly be your issue.
