hello i need help.
im new here so i dont know much about this forum and where to find things. heres my first question:ive never owned a jeep so im in the dark but my wife just bought a used 95 xj and the electric windows only worked by way of the drivers door switch i looked and looked and found it had 3 broke wires between the door and the a pillar, i pull the door harness out and went through it and fixed all the wires. it only fixed the drives side rear widow so now it works but the only switch that works any windows is the drivers side so what do i check next. i checked to see if power gets to the drivers switch and from it as well all good so as far as i can tell that wiring harness/ switches is now good to go, so is there somewhere else these jeeps have issues with when it comes to the windows? nex question i have is the a/c blower motor keeps blowing fuses whats up with that.?

Very common problem is the window lock going bad. Here's something to look at.

ok so i changed all the switches in the doors with a junkyard set. they all work according to the multimeter. so i dont know what to do now. i started cutting the power to the widow switches and splicing them into the power for the locks to get them to work away from the drivers switch. i hope it isnt to much load on the door lock curcuit. i dont need a fire or anything just want the windows to bloody work at the door they are in. can someone let me know if this is a good choice of action at this point.

So now the passenger side windows are the only ones not working with their respective door switches?
But they DO work with the master control?

I'm no wiz here, but if your wires, and the master switch are OK, I might suspect the JY switch, (test aside). The JY switch may well have been in the rain. Waz me I might see if I could jump wires at the passenger side switch and see it work....

oh ok, well the master switch is stock it was the rear passenger side that came from the junk yard not the driver side switch i tested it and the master worked so i figured it cant be it. thats why im so confused where the issue lies to why the windows dont work
