Ok here's some background. I'm young, just got divorced. I have 2 kids, I work part-time, I'm in grad school and I exercise. Basically, I have a full schedule but I like working on my Jeep and it saves money.
It's been raining here since Friday. I do not have a garage so the work is done in the driveway. To top it off I really needed a new set of tools so I ordered some online and they will arrive by the 13th. HOPEFULLY it will stop raining by then.
I know this taking a while so if you unsubscribe, I completely understand. Thanks for getting me this far.

When you get the water pump, open the box right there in the store and make sure there is a gasket in the box. They almost always come with gaskets, but I have gotten all the way home with a water pump in the past only to find that it was not there. The pump will probably not come with a heater hose fitting (the metal pipe sticking up out of the top of it). You can reuse the one you have, but you will need some thread sealant to make sure it doesn't leak where it screws into the water pump. When you get into this job, give yourself plenty of time to do it and be patient. If you get impatient, the job gets more difficult. It's easy to get in a hurry and break things, which doesn't usually have a calming effect.
How does this sound:
Ok remove shroud,
4 bolts around the clutch (hold in place with a screwdriver, should I buy the tool?)
Then remove the belt and replace the clutch...
Then go straight to the water pump, whic I have no clue how to do.
I can't seem to find anything in this service manual, is there an index? The table of contents doesn't exist!

I found the water pump instructions but I wish I had a visual. Seems like its directly across from the viscous fan? Is that so?

You had another pic posted that you removed. That was showing you the A/C compressor, which has its own clutch. That's not the clutch you're looking for, so please don't take your A/C compressor apart. You probably removed the pic because you figured out the error, but just in case you didn't, here's what a viscous fan clutch looks like:
There are four bolts that hold the fan to the clutch and four bolts that hold the whole assembly to the engine. You want to loosen the bolts in the rear before loosening the fan belt. The fan belt will hold the thing in place while you loosen the bolts.
The special tool is helpful, but it isn't necessarily required. You can do the same thing using a screwdriver or by using an extra wrench wedged in. I personally prefer to use the wrench, because it seems like it doesn't slip off as easily as the screwdriver. If you use a screwdriver, make sure it is a square shank screwdriver and not round, because the round ones slip right off.
I would get started early Saturday and plan for this to take the whole weekend. Hopefully you'll be done Saturday, but being new at it, you need to give yourself as much time as possible. Good luck!

When you get the pump off, be sure to scrape any old gasket off the block.
Don't put gouges in the block, or you will end up with possibly non-repairable leaks.
Also don't break off any bolts in there.

YouTube is your friend. I didn't see a video there specific to 1994, but the general procedure should be the same. Watching one of those videos will give you a pretty good visual idea of what you have to do. You had another pic posted that you removed. Looking at the pump, do I start here (pic #1) loosening and removing these bolts or do I start at pic #2.

Loosen all bolts and retract the long one underneath the power steering pump first.
The PS pump is the tensioner for the belt. Get everything loose, then remove the belt. Make sure you know how it routes before you pull it.

Yes, that's it. I should have said "nuts." There are four studs there with nuts on them. Loosen those nuts before you loosen the fan belt, or you will find them very difficult to get loose with the shaft turning under your wrench.
Follow the steps outlined in the FSM. It will tell you the best sequence to get the thing apart.
