So lately Ive noticed as I sit idle in traffic or wherever my windshield starts to fog up at first I thought nothing of it but it hasnt stopped. The heat is off when it happens and the heat coming out of the vents is filled with condensation but my heats not on, what would cause this?

 

Sounds like a leaking heater core.

Do you notice your coolant level is low? Smell to the condensation? Any liquid on the floors?

 

yeah Ive noticed low levels but I havent seen any leaks and there is a smell. Up until today I havent noticed any leaks but today I popped my hood after seeing some smoke or steam come out of the vents and noticed this. Its below the two heater core hoses.

 

That's where the drain for the ac condensor is. I have a leaking heater core and it shows up there.

 

Heater core. Not fun. Step one: remove the dash....
Do you need heat in Florida? If not I'd just bypass it.
