Default Heater core help!

I’m ready to put my heater box back in but I think I’m missing a part! I have to put this thing back together today so I’m f’ed but I’ll pull it again this summer. The part I think I’m missing is the divider that goes behind the heater core (See pic). It wasn’t in there when I took this apart, but i saw it on some threads I looked at. Does anyone have one? Will I have to get it from a junk yard.

I put this back in like this. Can anyone tell me if there even is a part missing? If I’m going to have to pull it again to install the missing part then I don’t want to have the ac system charged yet.

Maybe this will explain what I'm asking better.

no, I don't think so. I believe you just need the swinging black plastic door from what I remember when I took mine apart last summer, which looks like you have it in there already. It's a PITA to get it to seat correctly when putting the top and bottom of the HVAC box back together. just an FYI. Here is a link to replacing mine. Has some good YouTube videos in there for reference.

Thank you for the pics! It looks like if I am missing a piece, it should be pretty insignificant. I have it all back in and buttoned up. My heater works well and if I put it on cool it seems to just blow air from outside. Maybe I’ll just go ahead and have the ac charged and see how it works. It would be nice to not have to pull the dash again, although now that I’ve done it, it doesn’t seem like a big deal.
