Default Heater Blowing Warm Air

It's already getting cold in New York State and I noticed my heater was blowing only warm air...any ideas to get it on the hot side as it should be?

I haven't done anything with my jeep for heating, but on my 94 Bonneville I had only warm air coming out it was due to a bad heater core and blower.

Check the floor boards for rad fluid and under/around the dash.

Just my 2 cents

Check the heater control valve for correct operation. Also the temp door/control may not be working correctly. JMO

Also make sure the heater core isn't restricted and check your coolant level.

Is the different fan speeds working when you move the switch up and down from low to high?

Yes, the different fan speeds work OK. The temp is just luke warm at all speeds.

Eric331gt you hit the nail on the head...local mechanic also suggested I flush the heater core so I disconnected both heater core hoses at the front of the motor and ran a garden hose in the top heater core hose for about 15 minutes then ran it in the bottom hose for 15 minutes... reconnected the 2 hoses to the motor and now the air from the vents is HOT.....thanks to all for your comments. NOTE: Just used some duct tape to hold the garden hose to the heater core hose. Obviously leaked some but did the job.
