this is not an over flow bottle the hoses are still connected to the cooling system, this needs to be disconnected from the system the hoses that are connecte toit should be connected together then a over flow bottle need to be in stalled the hose from the radiator you are holding need to be connected to the bottom nipple on new bottle you will always loose water thru the cap on the top untill you disconnect it.
