I taped it up to the inside of the roof. didn't cause any problems with the headliner going back in. I have to imagine heat is the #1 enemy of a long life of a headliner. Hopefully will cut down the heat in the summers and provide a tiny little bit of insulation year round.

I did a little sound deadening and added a layer of some cheap closed cell foam when I put an overhead console it my '00. I paid to have the headliner done. I know no matter how hard I tried to do a good job I just did not have it in me to do it right. $125 with me taking the headliner out and bringing it to him.

That's a great price and looks great.. I actually need to do this on my wife's 99 Cherokee too, which is why I ended up doing it myself.
