Headlignt Issues
Hey guys,
I just woke my poor 99 XJ up from winter hibernation and am working on recovering from pretty severe water damage from a water leak related to the heater air intake area. With that being another issue, last night I was driving and I noticed my headlights were turning off and on while driving. Both at the same time (the people driving in front of me must have thought I was crazy).
I recently replaced the battery,
could it be related to moisture in the dash board area from all the water (replace the headlight switch?) Note: everything else seems to be okay except some of my gauge cluster lights only come on sometimes 50/50 (left turn signal), so maybe moisture in there too..
Im fighting a war with the mold in the carpet and seatbelts and everything, the last thing I need is to have to deal with my headlights not working,
thanks for your help!

Yes,but check your fuse and fuse box connections & headlight connections for corrosion.
Next wiggle the switch to determine if the switch has issues.
