So I went out to my buddy's place last night to get the Jeep dirty, I went to leave and the head lights would not turn on... had to use my led lights on my bumper to get home... Now I[m searching for the problem. No bad fuses, dash and parking lights turn on, dash lights turn on and dim, high beam indicator rosk but no high beams...

It's a 2000 XJ sport... I just put new headlights, 85/80w bulbs, and a Putco harness in a couple weeks ago and they were working fine. Does this sound like a switch issue? I hate to tear the front apart to get the harness out. Anyway to test if it's the switch? Thanks

 

Dis-regard... it was the Putco harness... piece of crap... will be returning it.

 

did the relays get wet?

 

Nope, they were tucked under the hood... but they were corroded on one of the contacts...
