Default Headlights are flashing randomly

My headlights are flashing on and off when I'm driving or in park but my parking lights stay on. I just installed a new headlight switch and harness? Any tips ??

Double check the connections on the harness and switch that you just installed??
Rule 1, always check whatever was worked on most recently.

Just curious...when your lights flash on and off, if you put on your high beams do they still flash on and off? My headlights do the same, but when I put on the high beams, they stay on, but only if I hold the high beam switch in the "on" position. If I release the high beam switch, then the high beams will also flash on and off. I have a '93 Jeep Cherokee.

More than likely, it's time to replace your headlight switch. A good time to upgrade the headlight harness as well. I used to do a lot of night driving and I'd go through 2-3 switches a year until I upgraded the harness.

well I doubt he wants to buy those again. Maybe try a junkyard switch or test them separately. Like put the old switch on but leave the harness, vice versa.
