Headlight Bezel Screws
I somehow managed to lose all four headlight bezel screws for my '97 Cherokee. Can anybody tell me what size I need to buy to replace 'em?

Sorry to revive a necrothread, but this is one of the first hits on google for "Cherokee Headlight Screws" so I thought it would be most helpful to post this info here.
The chrome bezel takes #8 x .75" self-tapping screws perfectly. There is plenty of space for longer ones but using them only takes more time to tighten down with no benefit. The plastic headlight housing and amber running light/turn signal use #8 x 1.75" self tapping screws in all but two of the housing holes (the heads on the self-tappers are too wide). The housing secures just fine anyway. Hopefully you will not have lost all of your screws and have a few left for these holes if you really must have every single hole secured. An added bonus is that self-tapping screws are made for metal roofs and are chromed to resist rust.
The grille uses #14 x 1-1/4" wood screws.
That should cover the most commonly lost fasteners for the front end. Hopeof these are easily found in the fastener section of any hardware store. The self tappers are about $7/box of well over 100. The lag screws are about $2.50/4. Hope that saves you guys some time and money. Ebay sells the OEM bezel/housing screws for $2 a piece with $3 shipping!
