I bought the fabric from a local fabric store..i think it was somewhere around $40 for the fabric (with plenty left over), i also used about 1 1/2 cans of the 3m spray glue (mentioned earlier in this thread).
Fairly easy job, and well worth it!

I need to iron the fabric before spraying each surface and applying it. We have storms coming this afternoon, so I might wait to do that another day so that I don't rush it.

I had to iron mine too cause it was folded in half and rolled around a cardboard thing.. (like any other fabric)- no biggie..
dont rush it, i did mine on a sunny day and laid it out in the sun for about 30 min to let the glue really stick!
good luck

That is a sweet headliner! Nice job. That's given me an idea on doing a Bob Marley theme in mine. In fact...that's going to be my next project!

I'll get on this as soon as I have some cash to my name...same time next year?
LoL...I'll see if I can get started on it by next weekend. Biggest problem will be finding the right print...we'll see.

Id say just use peel n seal from lowes, its the same thing for lower cost. As for insulating the roof more, buy a few cans of spray foam and seal all the corners and gaps you can find, then lay down the dynamat stuff. It will get rid of any noise!

It was well worth it for me, it took care of the vibration i was getting in my roof. i also put some around the speakers in the back hatch cause i had some vibration there as well.. took care of both spots!

it has a tar adhesive backing. I used it on my front doors and hatch and noticed a lot of wind noise and rattles were eliminated.

i just turned up the music till it started to vibrate so i could find the exact spots then put the dynamat wherever needed. but depending on the location of your vibration some areas in the hatch are harder to access! i will try and get some pics up asap of the area i did. hopefully it will help you some

sounds very similar to this dynamat material.. did you roll it on with a roller or just press it on with your hand. just trying to get an overall idea.. any pics?
