Question Haunted XJ (electrical)

Hi:
2000 Sport: F16 (IOD) fuse now blown in the PDC. No Dome lights, no radio, no gauges or odometer (light?) Running fine. Sometimes, just sitting there, the door locks start locking and unlocking by themselves. Just a little history;

A week or so ago, the CEL comes on, Airbag light comes on, horn starts blowing! I get the phone out to take video! Then the speedometer and tachometer start batting. I pullover, pop the hood, take the phone out with me to record this, set the phone on the bumper, raise the hood looking for the noise (which I didn't know was the horn at the time), pull the horn wire which shuts it up. Close the hood and continue on my way. When I arrived at the store, the locks started doing the lock/unlock thing. I had loose battery terminals. I fix that, and the gauges came back!
I couldn't find the phone. I go back to where I stopped, and it wasn't there. I later found it using the iPad, still recording video, for 2 hours and 13 minutes. Sitting on the side of the road. Video showed the phone was dropped from the bumper, and then hit twice by other vehicles! Hardly a scratch. Another video of that will be posted.
Anyway, sorry to stray off topic.
I put a new fuse in the PDC #16 (IOD), and it blows. I found a PDF of the XJ. It looks like the radio and dome light might run off this fuse. Anything else? Maybe the radio is wigging out? Could this cause these crazy manifestations? I don't know if I have a wireless key system in the roof, but I only have ordinary keys. Is there a computer module or maybe it is just the wireless module that locks the doors? It seems the wireless receiver can blow the horn. I guess, lock the doors, too.. Duh..
Planning on putting a big load in place of the fuse, like maybe a head lamp, and taking a thermal imaging camera to the harness. 20ga wires should get warm pretty fast.

Folks!
I pulled down the dome light, found a mess. The keyless entry board connector was burnt, so much the plug and connector on the board were melted together. I cut the wires. The purple wire apparently got hot enough to melt its insulation and the wire next to it, and shorted to it! That finally blew the fuse in the PDC. I then put a new 15A fuse in, started it, and my gauges, odo, and radio are back!
i took a video. I’ll get it up soon.
Thanks!
