Harmonic Balancer
So I went to replace my serpentine belt and saw that my harmonic balancer pulley was sliding. I was able to get it off but was wondering if there are any tricks to getting the new one on.

First, make sure the woodruff key is seated right and get the new balancer on there as best you can by hand, just don't hammer it on. Next you can use a HB installer, or like me, just use a longer bolt and start tightening it up, until its on there enough to get the HB bolt to grab some threads.
If the first bolt is too long or if the bolt bottoms out and the HB bolt still willn't grab, you can use big nuts or washers to shim it up, to get the balancer on more.
