Default Guages not working after stroking engine

Hii all ,

I have problem, last week I got new golen engine stroked and installed successfully on my 1999 XJ , powerfull, but only problem is after my gauges of RPM, speed , milage , heat and oil not working at all , sometimes suddenly they work and again stop !!!

Plz I need help asap .

You wanna check and clean all your connections to and from your cluster (with fine sand paper as needed)

I had this problem yesterday. You have two positive cables going to your battery. One is for the engine and the other is for the electrical system. Made sure you have those connected correctly. I had to splice some of the positive cable so I could get more exposed and then clamp it tightly down to the connector that goes to my terminal. This fixed my problem instantly

Hi again , I have done cabling in battery positive , still , only heat and petrol gauge are working , other off !

Check the read of your connections then. Any and all grounds. Something you touched didn't get tightened down or replaced correctly.
