I'm rebuilding my jeep's motor and I'm putting together the cylinder head right now. I have noticed that both the rockers and fulcrums have grooves that go from wide to skinny, what I don't know is whether these grooves need to line up or cross?

I always line them up.

 

Who's rockers are they - OEM?

 

Yeah they are oem.
Okay I'll go back through and line them up. I just don't want my valve train to go eventually, due to the rockers not getting proper oil.

 

Make sure you don't twist the bridges when torquing them done.

 

Yeah I was careful with that, I would do each side little by little switching back and forth.
