Default gotta replace my stock radiator :(

I need help replacing my radiator.
What do I need to donto replace it and what do I need to do it
Any help will be appreciated

Start with taking pics (for reference) before the 1st wrench is turned. When the old rad is out and before the new rad goes in is the perfect time to replace the water pump and t-stat as well. Let us know when u reach a snag and we'll go from there. It's not hard, just take your time, be patient and careful.

^X2 also might as well flush/backflush the heater core to keep that heat kicking at decent temp. also make sure the tranny line connects on the radiator are tightened down or you'll have a small leak

You may as well go through the entire cooling system. Do the thing stated above also check you fan clutch and do a complete cooling system flush. Make sure to replace the coolant with a 50/50 mix. BTW when you change out your t-stat use the oem and 195deg is what is recommended.

T stat was just changed les then 4 months ago along with the whole coolant system, I have a leak in the radiator so I go thro coolant a lot now, so I am just wondering on what tools do I need forit, and is it something I can do by myself, my heater isnt rlly working great also, i had it flushed recently also and still same room temp heat what can tht be

I'm confused.....the whole coolant system was changed 4 months ago? There are a number parts that make up the whole cooling system, with the radiator being one of those parts. Might want to be more specific about what/which parts have been replaced.

If your gonna replace it then you might as well upgrade. Get a 3 core radiator from radiator barn and be done with it. I did it and my temp hasn't reached 210 since. One of the best upgrades I've done.

No need to do anything but stick with an OEM replacement. Check WeRMopar.com for replacement.

Buy the tool needed to break the transmission cooling line connection. It's cheap from the auto parts store and makes this step a whole lot easier.

Mine didn't like the oem radiator. Tried replacing the original with another oem and would still overheat in traffic and the trail after doing water pump and thermostat and would run at 250-260. Put a 3 row in and now it doesn't go over 200.

2 bolts on the top of the radiator (12mm I think, dont remember for sure), pull the 2 hoses off, and lift it out. Nothing to it. There will be 2 lines on the bottom you'll have to disconnect as well if you have an automatic. Took me 10-15 minutes tops to change my radiator and all the radiator and heater hoses.

Oh, mine doesn't have a fan shroud either, I almost forgot about that. Should only take a minute to get the shroud off.

I just put in a replacement radiator from Advance Auto. Nothing special, but does just as good of a job as the original did. Mine never even hits 210, even in traffic or wheeling on hot summer days.

Any specs on total core thickness (in inches)? Looks like a nice rad.
