Got any tips?
Picked up a used set of jeep alloy factory wheels they look like a crooked star. In nice shap afrer i cleande the heck out of them but for $100 Bucks with tires sears 225/75-15 3 are pretty good. some places on the wheels have like maybe a salt corrosion like wher salty snow sat and froze on them while parked. went over them with a scotchbright pad. what to do? touch up with silver paint? sand and try to polish? any suggestions thanks

Silve model paint would work great if it is small spots. If you can polish it get you a Dremel (one of the handiest tools ever made) With some turtle wax or some other polisher and it will shine up nice. Big spots might want to look at Some automotive paint from like autozone They have some nice chrome like paints and repaint the whole wheel.

Sand and repaint as mudd suggests is the best to get an overall color. Spot painting like Stryker suggests will make them some 50 foot wheels.
Paint is a option I painted my stock steel whels with a rustoum metal paint they have out now in light charcoal. they came out very nice. its on th rim edge i may get those refective wheel strips a lot of Motorcycles are using them . they come in lots of colors . saw them on e-bay.
