Default Goodyear MTR's in the snow

Anyone out there have experience with the original Goodyear MTR that came stock on the rubicons in the snow and ice? Just got a set on 16" Moab's from a friend. Curious how well they will be in CO during the winter.

I have a set of goodyears like that on my '92 XJ and they grip alright. I just threw 4 new 31x10.5 BF Goodrich all terrain t/a's on my 96 and it's doing good in the snow! I'd give BFG a try because goodyear tires are junk now, they're overpriced and they tend to not last as long as they used to.
Oh and if you want to get even better snow traction, spend the extra $60 and have the tires siped. I have a friend who had his tires done and what a difference it made lol

Get treadwrights. They have the exact copy of the MTR pattern but at 90$ per tire.

I like the MTR pattern too so thats what im getting.

I loved mine. Deep snow was great. They get kinda scary on icy roads though. I would def get them siped like the others suggested
